The mascot of NextHome is "Luke", a french bulldog. You will find this lovable french bulldog in our marketing, advertising and along side the yard sign in front of homes we have listed for sale.

In 2019 NextHome, as a corporation, proudly announced its new national charity partner, Canine Companions for Independence®, a nonprofit with the primary purpose to enhance the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained assistance dogs.

So it seems natural for NextHome Gulf Coast to adopt a local charity that works with dogs, right? But there is a little more to the story.

In 2005, Tony Anderson, the broker and owner of NextHome Gulf Coast Realty and his wife Peppy adopted a Shih Tzu - Lhasa Apso mix with PetPal Animal Shelter who they (re)named Pepsi. In his new home he soon bonded with his new brother, a Shih Tzu named Morgan, that welcomed Pepsi with open paws. Over the years they were absolutely awesome dogs and brothers. Pepsi passed away in 2020. He was preceeded by Morgan that passed in 2018.

It is in honor of Luke, Pepsi and Morgan that NextHome Gulf Coast has adopted PetPal Animal Shelter as their local charity. The people at PetPal do such incredible work with animals that are given a second chance in life. Please join us in supporting all of their efforts.
